Tracing the Ink: Peyman Yarian’s Journey

Peyman Yarian, an Iranian writer based in the Netherlands, was born in 1971 in the city of Sanandaj. He has worked as a journalist in the cultural and literary sections of several local weeklies, including Karfato, Goros, and Didgah. Yarian has also contributed to the literary and historical supplements of national newspapers, including Shargh, Jam-e Jam, and Etemad.


Before his migration, he published five books in Iran. During the fourth edition of the “Tehran Book Fair Without Censorship” in Amsterdam, his short story collection The Crows, his novel BOOK Burning, and a Dutch short story collection by Yarian were officially presented.
